Our story

Small business owners spend their day serving customers, managing stock and paying staff. Tax and compliance work — GST returns, income tax, audits, PF and ESI — often gets pushed to the last day, or handed to different people who never talk to each other.

JS Tax Consultants was set up to change that. From our office in the Wholesale Food Grain Market Complex, Koyambedu, Chennai, we work as a single, dependable compliance partner for SMEs and small shops across Chennai, Thanjavur, Cuddalore and Ariyalur districts: one team that knows your business, files every return on time, and explains things in Tamil or English without jargon.

Who we work with

Grocery and provision stores, textile showrooms, boutiques, salons, tea shops, restaurants, bakeries, medical shops, jewellers, hardware dealers, rice mills, small manufacturers, exporters, startups, doctors and professionals — from single-owner shops to private limited companies.

How we work

Most of our work is done remotely: you share bills and documents on WhatsApp, email or Google Drive, and we update the books and file returns. For audits, stock verification and registrations needing signatures, we visit you or meet at a convenient location in Chennai, Thanjavur, Cuddalore or Ariyalur. Audit reports that must be signed by a practising Chartered Accountant are completed with qualified Chartered Accountants, while we handle the preparation and coordination.
